Maintaining the plant quality system;
Handling customer complaints through 8D modeling analysis;
Using PDCA model to administer corrective actions;
Supplier evaluation and qualification;
Working with FMEA, 5S flow charts, TQM, ISO 9001, ISO 14000, using APAP and PPAP methodology;
Leading the application of SPC techniques and tools;
Auditing processes and systems.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
3
years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment;
Continuous Improvement;
FMEA, 5S flow charts;
TQM, ISO 9001, ISO 14000, APAP, PPAP/ISIR documentation;
SPC techniques and tools;
Lean, Root Cause, Corrective Action, 5 Why, Fish Bone, 8D problem solving;
Supplier evaluation and qualification;
Strong leadership and team building skills;
CNC, fabrication, stainless steel background is a plus;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Willing and able to travel.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
