HR Manager

Job Description: Position Overview:   This HR Manager role will primarily support the Fort Madison Production Facility. Support of business units located outside of Fort Madison may also be required. Will work closely with the supervisory team and employee base managing site human resources responsibilities. Candidate must have a strong employee relations and  demonstrated competencies in implementing change, along with high collaboration skills. Previous experience in a highly matrix organization is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Guides implementation and / or execution of HR strategy, policies, procedures and programs - for several functional areas or for (an) assigned organization(s). Ensures consistency with overall internal policy guidelines and respective labor law regulations. Keeps abreast of industry and / or regional trends. Guides (business) management in HR policy and program matters. Decides on personnel resource allocation and is responsible for the management of related budget planning and reporting. Manages and coordinates the assigned organization(s), leads all related team leaders, professionals and operations employees.   There will be 5% travel associated with this position. Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience: o           Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or Organizational Development a plus. o           Minimum 5 years of experience demonstrating a working knowledge of multiple business disciplines including employee relations, labor relations,   performance management, and management consultation. o           The ability to be flexible, self-directed, motivated and able to interact with employees at all levels. o           Strong verbal and written communication skills. o           Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills. o           Ability to handle multiple projects or tasks while effectively prioritizing to meet deadlines in an ever changing fast-paced environment. o           Ability to successful drive change in the organization o           Must possess above average proficiency in Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, Outlook,  PowerPoint) o           Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. o           Proven ability to research and analyze information o           Ability to use data and information to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with standard, practices, policies, procedures, regulations or government law. o           The proven ability to demonstrate leadership skills, professionalism and team attitude. o           Prior experience working in a matrixed environment a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
